The Olive Grove Apartment is contained within the beautiful Saneil complex of 15 apartments and 2 villas, which were built to a very high standard in 2004/5. It is set on a peaceful hillside surrounded by olive groves and offers spectacular views of Kalamar and Kalkan bays from the balcony, master bedroom, and lounge. The apartment is air-conditioned throughout and has insect screens fitted on most doors and windows. There is 24 hr security on the complex with a full time manager (Turkish) who speaks excellent English and there is free wi-fi on the complex.

The apartment is fully maintained during your holiday, with people on hand to welcome you and help with any problems you might have. It is situated in the quiet outskirts of the town, yet it takes only takes about 15 minutes to walk downhill to the centre.

The 15 apartments share a stunning 25m freshwater swimming pool, with a toddler pool at one end. Provided at the poolside are 4 sun loungers and 2 sun parasols, for your exclusive use.

Inside: With antique ceramic floor tiles to keep the apartment cool, the lounge is spacious and contains a three seat sofa and a two seat sofa, with side tables and a book-rack. A CD player/radio is installed. Access to the south facing balcony is directly from the lounge. The balcony directly overlooks the pool and sea views giving uninterrupted views over the two bays. On the balcony is a rectangular table, 4 chairs, 2 sun loungers, and a fully retractable awning. Air conditioning is installed throughout. 

Bedrooms:

  • Master bedroom – with king size bed, fully tiled en-suite bathroom with toilet and shower. Fitted wardrobes and vanity unit.
  • Bedroom 2 – large twin bedded room with air conditioning, vanity unit, fitted wardrobes. A Z bed is also available in this room.

Bathrooms:

  • Ensuite bathroom to master bedroom, with large shower cubicle, WC, and wash hand basin.
  • There is also a separate bathroom with walk-in shower (wet room) with w.c. and wash hand basin.

Outside: A large, impressive, shared freshwater swimming pool is available to guests, who also have use of 5 private sun loungers and 2 umbrellas. Landscaped gardens are to the front and rear of the apartment. The (south facing) large balcony has a glass topped rectangular table and 4 chairs, plus 2 further sun loungers, and offers stunning views to Kalkan & Kalamar bays.

Utility Room: Also provided is a washing machine for any personal laundry (outside the apartment).

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath and hand towels are provided, and are changed twice weekly along with all bedding. A light clean is carried out every day with a hard clean done twice a week. 5 Poolside /beach towels are provided.

Additional notes: An electronic safe is provided for your convenience. The complex has its own generator which automatically cuts in when there is a power cut, thus providing an unbroken supply to all apartments at all times.

Booking Notes: 
A £100 deposit secures your booking, with the balance paid 8 weeks before departure. A £100 breakage deposit is also taken at this time.. 

Changeover Day: 
Monday is the most popular changeover day as more flights arrive on this day than any other. However, we are flexible. Normally you will be asked to vacate the apartment by 1100 hrs. Access is from 1400hrs, but these times are flexible if there is no following booking.

  • This was our second stay in this delightful apartment, we thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous complex and stunning views. The apartment is modern and stylishly appointed throughout and the owners, Christine and Ian, have literally thought of everything - it is extremely well equipped.

    We followed their restaurant recommendations and found them all to be spot on. The complex is very well attended to, the pool is glorious and the frequency of the cleaning staff is a real bonus. All genuinely helpful.

  • As seasoned visitors to Kalkan we were not disappointed with the Olive Grove apartment. The complex is situated in a peaceful area above the town and the views and evening breeze make it very special. Comfortably furnished, thoroughly equipped and spotlessly clean it was perfect for our 12 day holiday. There is a large swimming pool and on the days we 'stayed home' we had it mostly to ourselves.The complex manager, Seco and his staff looked after us very well and introduced us to a lovely local restaurant as an alternative to traveling into town.

    A very pleasant stay....... We will be back.

  • There is only one word to describe the apartment, location, and facilities - fabulous! The Olive Grove was exactly as described, little extras included hairdryers, straighteners, pool/beach towels, adaptors, books and dvd's and a welcome pack on arrival. This complex is beautifully maintained, a wonderful freshwater 25 mtre pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Four designated sunbeds and two parasols. Views to die for from the balcony, an awning to sheild from the sun if needed/wanted. The owner went out of his way to be helpful and offered much advice. Arranged taxis on arrival and we were able to pay by credit card once in Kalkan in English pounds. We experienced a mini heatwave so tended to laze by the pool, a few steps back to the apartment which was efficiently airconditioned, and back to the pool. Cocktails and breakfast on the balcony. We did visit the market and into town a few times and ate at Aubergine and The Olive Tree. In the evenings we just went to the abundance of local restaurants - all excellent and the Turkish people are a delight. All in all a fantastic holiday. Just be aware it is quite hilly - build in £3 or £4 to get a taxi back up to the complex!

  • Our third visit to Kalkan but the first time in Saneil Complex; We were very impressed with the standard of accommodation and we would highly recommend the Olive Grove apt, which was clean, comfortable and very well equipped - cleaned every day with a change of linen throughout the week. The views from the spacious balcony are lovely and the pool area was super too; big pool, clean and plenty of beds, umbrellas if needed. The staff at the complex were also very friendly and helpful. We tried a number of new restaurants and cafe's this year, following advice from the visitors book at the apt. and will definitely go back to The Old Trading House and Celik. Ali, at the Elixir Hotel was as helpful and friendly as ever and we made good use of the delivery and take away services of the Cafe Vita once again. We also enjoyed lunch at Adam's Bar on the road to Kaputus Beach. We hired a car at the airport as usual, and for us this was the best option in terms of value and convenience, although the great location of The Olive Grove certainly does dictate the need for a car. We would definitely use The Olive Grove/Saneil Apts in the future and cant wait to return to Kalkan next year.
