This well-appointed, duplex penthouse property is one of a select number of privately owned villas and apartments in the Dere Development in Kalkan’s Old Town.

The development enjoys a prime location, one of the best in Kalkan and is only a genuine couple of minute’s stroll to the Kalkan’s restaurants, harbour and beach. The three-bedroomed Sahane Apartment commands spectacular sea views right across Kalkan Bay and out towards Mouse and Snake islands.

The apartment’s management team including Mesut, Ayse and Samet are available 24 hours and can be as attentive or discreet as is required. They are totally committed to the comfort & relaxation of guests. There is also a car park for guests who wish to hire a car to travel further afield.

Ground floor
The light & airy open plan lounge and dining area are tastefully decorated in a contemporary Turkish style and feature lounge and dining seating for 6. LCD TV, satellite & DVD player are also provided including plenty of English channels. Guests will also find an ipod dock and stereo. All windows & doors are fitted with quality fly screens for additional comfort. The lounge opens out onto a spacious balcony, furnished with table & chairs to allow guests to enjoy everything from an al fresco breakfast or that sundowner at the end of a hard day! The fantastically equipped kitchen includes washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. There is also an electric water cooler. An iron and ironing board are also provided for the use of guests.

The ground floor also features a spacious, fully tiled bathroom with large walk-in power shower, sink and w.c. 

A feature limestone archway leads to a spacious king size bedroom and a light & airy twin room both with private balconies.

First floor
A solid antique marble staircase leads up to the Sahane’s penthouse king size master suite. This exceptionally spacious suite style bedroom complete with seating area commands spectacular sea views. The room’s en suite bathroom includes a walk in power shower, wc, sink and mirror. The suite has its own private, extensive ‘wraparound’ sun terrace which is furnished with sunloungers, parasol, table and chairs and private bbq.

  • I stayed here with a friend for 10 days in October. This lovely apartment was a great place to call home for our stay, with three good size bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin). The master bedroom was really delightful with a wrap around balcony which had a spectacular panorama of Kalkan - a great place for a sundowner! The balcony on the entry floor also afforded a fabulous view of Kalkan and the harbour, and a particularly lovely spot for breakfast. We are regular visitors to Kalkan and our preference is always to stay in the Old Town. This was a very fast and easy walk down the hill to all of our favourite places and an ever so slightly longer walk back up - but a great way to burn off some calories, which was no bad thing!

    The apartment is also very conveniently located near Carrefour which made life very easy indeed and there was also a great team looking after the place with a midweek cleaning included. We have added this place to our list of favourites and would definitely stay again.

  • Great location in Kalkan, the view from the penthouse bedroom is truly amazing. We loved waking up to that every morning. The beach is close by as are the many excellent restaurants and shops. The owners were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. I don't think this will be my last visit to Sahane!

  • I've now stayed in all three of the Dere Apartments & non of them disappoint. However Sahane the duplex apartment is the larger of the three and sleeps six easily. The amazing master bedroom has its own balcony with uninterrupted views of Kalkan bay. It is decorated to a high standard with a homely feel. Samet, who hands up maintenance & management team, is available 24/7. The pool area is spotless with enough sun beds for all three apartments, however with a short stroll to the harbour you can spend your day at the beach or one of the beach clubs dotted around Kalkan bay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
