Perched on a quiet hillside in Islamlar village, Villa Badem (meaning almond) is the ultimate Mediterranean mountain retreat!

For those seeking peace and seclusion - but within a short drive of everything Kalkan has to offer - Villa Badem is perfect. The giant 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom duplex is nestled in a mature garden setting, ripe with fruit trees with superb, uninterrupted views over the countryside to the sea and mountains. The private pool and pool terrace, although enjoying an open expanse of mountain views, is not overlooked by any neighbouring buildings.

Villa Badem's interior is a prime example of cool, contemporary luxury meeting traditional local charm... the décor is modern and tasteful; the rooms spacious, bright and comfortable.

Downstairs, the fully-equipped, modern kitchen has everything you could need for a comfortable stay, including oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster etc. The interior dining table has space for ten people while the large, spacious open plan living area, complete with large screen TV, provides plenty of space to relax indoors. The TV includes a full digital package which includes BBC, ITV, Sky and BT Sports.

But it's the outdoor space that really sets Villa Badem apart. Outside, there are plenty of sun loungers by the pool, a stone-oven BBQ and a dining table for those long, drawn-out alfresco dinners in the evening.  Another fantastic addition to the garden is an ottoman-style seating area on an elevated platform.... the perfect place to lounge over after-dinner shisha and coffee!

  • From the start the manager Mr Khan was waiting for us and took us to the villa we’re he showed us around and gave us a cake as well and also took me and my wife to the market, which was few minutes away which I’m really grateful for ,

The villa was amazing with the most beautiful breath taking views , so private and safe.

The infinity pool was brilliant my son loved it and spent most of his time in there, we paid extra for the heated pool which was a bonus, Tasum the caretaker was always there for us cleaned the pool on a morning and handy when ever we need him

The sun set from terrace and the pool is amazing and money well spent.

The villa is spacious and has everything you need I couldn't ask for anything more

The town is only 15 minutes away we’re you can eat and enjoy your self near the beach and take boat rides and loads if activities for children and family I would just like to say Thank you once again

  • Booking and communication process was excellent. Very prompt and professional responses and everything they said they would do, they did. The villa is part of a larger collection of managed houses I believe called Luxury Collection. Our house manager met us at the prescribed time and brought us to the house. The location of the house is way way up in the hills above Kalkan. Other then a few trout restaurants and simple markets there is not much around. That said it suited our group perfectly and the temperature even in late July was at least 5 degrees cooler than by the sea. The house is not remote per se so you feel perfectly safe there.

  • This was the perfect villa for our family of 8 adults. The location, about 8km from Kalkan up a winding mountain road, meant we were close enough to supermarkets and shops whilst luxuriating in the peace and tranquillity of Islamlar. The villa was as we had hoped for and more. The infinity pool has stunning views whilst the terrace area provided enough space for everyone to relax. Inside, the villa was cool and airy, very clean and well presented. The service provided by Murat and Tasim was excellent. Despite our delayed flight there was no problem with meeting us in Kalkan and leading the way up to the villa at 1am! Throughout our stay we knew they were available if needed. Would advise 4x4 vehicles to get around as road up to villa is pretty steep. We especially enjoyed the local trout restaurants in Islamlar such as Ashmaalti and The Koy. The food was delicious, service attentive and very reasonable prices. The two little food shops in the village were also handy for various essentials. Tempting as it was to stay at the villa, we found many things to do. Hiring a private boat for the day was one of our highlights (we used Yildiz-day trips from Kalkan harbour). A more energetic day out involved a walk along the Saklikent Gorge. Just be sure to venture further than the rope across the river! We loved our stay and highly recommend

  • Excellent 5 bedroom Villa in Islamlar village, Kalkan. Around 15-minutes from the town center depending on how fast you drive located in the sleepy village of Islamlar. The drive to the villa does require a strong 4x4 style of car as you will almost be driving off road. The villa itself has nice finishes quality space as well as a full range of amenities provided by the owners. The villa is looked after by the caretaker Tahsin and his wife Kodeeja and they do an awesome job in making sure you want for nothing.
A few minor repairs here and there needed but overall we (Family of 6) Enjoyed our time immensely.
If you are looking for a real village mountain style holiday away from the city hustle and bustle to be left alone spending time with your family enjoying bbq's and the pool.. this is 100% for you.
